This is never an easy subject to talk about but Karen provided us with lots of interesting infor- mation although some the statistics were a little alarm- ing.

Alzheimer‘s disease. Karen works with sufferers and their families in Havering.

ometimes one of the ways to
deal with such raw facts is to inject a little humour into the situation and a little gentle ribbing between the members helped the talk along. A heartfelt vote of thanks was given by Tony Barber.
