Personally, I found it really interesting to take part in the Time Out magazine’s BSF Trashed Mag project, as we got to experience firsthand what it was like to be a magazine journalist, and work with people who actually worked at Time Out magazine, along with a few other guests invited especially to work with us! For me, another great part was to actually be able to produce something that could be seen by anybody. This project was dubbed “Old School, New School”, and everybody chipped in and did something to help with the final work. Also, certain people from the group had an opportunity to go along to Shoreditch to see all the graffiti artists’ work that they put up anywhere they found a blank wall, and got to eat the world’s best bagels at the 24 hour open bagel bar at Brick Lane! So, all in all, I think this project was really enjoyable, and I would recommend it to anybody who wants to have a go!
