The workshop equipped developing broadcasters for taking decisions on how best to make the transition to digital radio and TV services effectively.


HD-Radio-VOV-ABU Digital Radio Showcase: HD-Radio Workshop, Trial and Field Measurements, February 2009, Hanoi


The project showcased feasibility and working of the HD-Radio and IBOC digital radio technologies for broadcasting MW and FM band. It equipped participants with expertise in the area of simulcasting as well. This is the 5th technology trial conducted by the Technical Department in digital radio since 2004.
