This will be the largest barge the company has built and it will be fitted out to a very high standard, with living and sleeping accommodation for up to eight people. Additionally, the barge will be equipped with the latest communications technology – providing telephone, television and broadband, along with a games room and gym facilities, to provide a shore-side living environment for the crew.
As well as high ticket capital equipment Gael Force also provide a comprehensive range of farm site products and consumables – every- thing needed day-to-day to run a successful farming operation – and the company’s trade catalogue and online ordering facility have now been extended to include these items. Last year Gael Force were awarded a contract to provide a special sourcing and supply service to Marine Harvest Scotland for aquaculture products and consumables and has introduced many new aquaculture lines to the product portfolio over the past 12 months. Ordering is available online, with a dedicated telesales team and delivery service available to the many remote sites across the west of Scotland.
