SALES & MARKETING COUNCIL NEWS
Enter the Houston's Best Awards
T
here is a door of opportunity that comes once a year. The Houston’s Best Awards
will begin accepting entries beginning May 28, 2010 at
www.ghba.org.
Five Easy Steps
1. Log on to
ghba.org and select a suitable category. There are categories for volume builders, custom builders, developers, remodelers and associates. 2. Enter the information required for that category. The Houston’s Best Awards Criteria and Entries Committee, headed up by Sarah Starr of Taylor Morrison Homes, worked many hours to explain each category in detail. 3. If you entered a Product category, prepare your home or project for onsite judging by our out-of-town guests from all over the United States. Judging will take place on August 18 and 19 of this year. 4. Take your seat at the greatest event of the year, Houston’s Best Awards, which will be held at the House of Blues on September 18, 2010 at 6 p.m. At the event, Houston industry icons will
announce the finalists and winners in each category. The party begins immediately after the awards show commences. Last year the program lasted about an hour and a half, so everyone will still have ample time to celebrate a year of hard work with friends. The entire night will be directed by Lona Shipp of Bridgeland. 5. Celebrate your achievements! The Houston’s Best Marketing Committee, led by Christy Stratton of Pulte Homes, will begin marketing the winners in local publications as well as industry publications.
EXCLUSIVE sponsorships are still available. Please contact D’Nita Kuhn, GHBA at 281.970.8970 x130 for information. If you would like to volunteer for one of the Houston’s Best committees, please contact Colleen Ellison directly at 713.206.4108.
