Hispanics are as diverse in their ethnicity as they are in their accomplishments. Their in- novation and technological advancements date back thou- sands of years to the monu- mental pyramids of the Mayans and Aztecs. With all our modern-day gad- gets, it’s hard for some of us to under- stand that technology was once defined by the methods people used to build housing, gather food and create social orders. So in those terms, early civiliza- tions made significant contributions to science and engineering.
