Library Fairtrade Information Display
Find out about Fairtrade and the “Great Fairtrade Tea Drinking” events until

will be available.
Primary 6 Fairtrade Event at Bishopton Primary on Friday 5th March - pupils
will present information regarding Fairtrade to parents and relatives through
music, songs and presentations. The proceeds will be donated to Mary’s
Meals who try to ensure that children of school age get one meal a day, they
also operate in Haiti.
Coffee Morning in Our Lady of Lourdes’ new Church Hall on
Saturday 6th March 10.30am to 1pm. Tickets £1 includes
Fairtrade Coffee/Tea.
Also members of the Fairtrade Group will visit Guides, Brownies, Rainbows
and Bishopton Youth Club to talk about Fairtrade and let them taste some
Fairtrade chocolate.
Art Group Spring Art And Craft Fair
Between 10am and 3pm on Saturday 6th March at Bishopton Community
Centre, Gledstane Road, Bishopton. Local amateur artists and crafts
people will offer for sale a variety of products that will make ideal gifts for
someone special. This event is perfect for anyone looking for a special gift
for Mother’s Day, that this year falls on Sunday 14th March.
Mr William Stewart, organiser of the Fair said, “Entry to the Spring Art and
Craft Fair is free, however tea coffee and home baking is also available at
a nominal cost. There is always a large selection of arts and crafts available
for sale and at very affordable prices. We will also be displaying the results
of a children’s art competition. There is good access for all to Bishopton
Community Centre and free parking. The Centre is only 5 minutes walk
from the railway station.”
