The event is being run
by local girls from the
U16 Scotland National
Woman’s Basketball
Team in conjunction with
Bishopton Primary School.
The Basketball Squad are
raising money to take the players to represent
Scotland at the European Championships in
Andorra during July 2010. Six local girls from
Erskine, Bishopton, Houston and Bridge of
Weir have all been successfully selected for
the Squad which is a great achievement for
Renfrewshire.
In order to help fund this event for the girls,
we are looking to raise in the region of £3,000
to help towards travel and accommodation
costs.
