to be out in the sun all day and drinking your lunch and dinner. After breakfast we
watched the parade. I was glad it was a little overcast because I’d had enough sun
by that time. I love Pride parades. Some people complain that they are too long,
but if you look back at what it took our community to even have Pride parades,
you begin to appreciate them a little more.
Oh no, I think I just got a little political, I hope there is a cure! Lord, a girl is turning
political. After the parade we went back to the festival for another day of fun.
Fortunately I packed my flats because my feet were killing me and after a few
beers, heels become a definite hazard. I didn’t stay long though because I had
to get back to my hotel and take a nap because I had a date at Sevilla for the very
special Club SIN party with plenty of shirtless guys. After that, and another outfit
change, it was out on the dance floor for my last night in town.
With all the time in Long Beach celebrating Pride and getting our new Long
Beach sections off the ground, I needed a little help from my friend, Vera Divine, to
report on the happenings around San Diego. Hit it Vera....
