TTG sponsored feature Orlando SuperFam 2011 FAM FEEDBACK: SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT

Isla King, product executive, Tui Travel I have never had as much fun as I had on the Orlando Superfam! SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment really do know how to enjoy themselves and the parks are a great reflection of their hard work and attention to detail. I was most eager to see this

collection of parks as although I have been to Florida, I had never been lucky enough to go to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens so I was first in line to be taken through the gates and to bring out the child, not hidden too far within me! WOW… is the only word I have for

Discovery Cove… a tropical oasis just off International Drive. Swimming with dolphins is something I will never forget. It was a sensational experience, which I can now tick off my Bucket List. Something that I will be reminding

my clients is that the park is all-inclusive – food and drink is all included in the ticket so I didn’t have to worry about leaving my wallet unguarded on the amazing beach while I snorkelled with the sting rays. Leaving Orlando and heading to

Tampa for Busch Gardens left me shaken but not stirred as I can now say that I have been on what I think is the best ride in the world, Cheetah Hunt. I didn’t know rides could go that fast! From thrilling rides to safari

experiences this family park has it all and has to be top of the holiday to-do list. I never thought that in Florida I would be able to feed a giraffe! It’s really hard to say which was my favourite attraction at SeaWorld but I

think Manta is going to have to be my best ride and feeding the sea lions must have been the most fun… boy, are they loud when they’re hungry! Not forgetting the One Ocean show where the Splash Zone should be renamed as the Soaked Zone! I loved the interaction with animals at SeaWorld and found it hard to tear myself away. Just when I thought my fun tank was full we were taken to Aquatica water park where for 10 minutes I allowed myself to relax on the 80,000 sq ft white sand beach before hurtling down Dolphin Plunge water slide through the Commerson’s dolphins’ habitat. What stood out for me is that this park really does cater for all ages – they have the beach and lazy river for relaxing, water slides in abundance and a children's zone… all I had to think about was the best way to get round to make sure I fit it all in!

Selling tips: ■ Highlight the all-inclusive value at Discovery Cove. Alcoholic drinks are included but guests MUST bring ID ■ Take advantage of the free shuttle to Busch Gardens. Call the day before to confirm a pick-up time ■ Take advantage of the great hands- on experiences at SeaWorld. Children love feeding the rays and a tray of food is only $5 ■ Aquatica guests on a budget can buy an all-day buffet pass for the Banana Beach Cookout
