DISTRICT 10 — NORTH TEXAS Eight Cattle Stolen in Erath County Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association


(TSCRA) Special Ranger Wayne Goodman reports the theft of 8 cows and a calf from a property near Alexander in Erath County. Between Jan. 9 and 19, a thief or thieves cut a lock and chain to steal the 8 black muley, or horn- less, Angus/Brangus cows weighing 850 to 1,200 pounds, each. These cattle are branded high on the right hip with an IG connected. Also missing is an unbranded 3-week-old calf weighing approximately 150 pounds. DISTRICT 14 — EAST TEXAS Horse Trailer Stolen From Rusk Property TSCRA Special Ranger Jimmy Dickson reports the


theft of a horse trailer from a property near Rusk in Chero- kee County. After Jan. 12 a thief or thieves cut a fence to steal the 1995 WW straight-load bumper pull horse trailer, license no. DCSK61, VIN no. 11WEH0924SW212226. Any- one with information regarding this theft is urged to call Dickson at 903-586-8733.


Two Angus Bulls Missing in Freestone County Dickson reports that 2 Angus bulls, branded with 5T


on the left hip, have been missing from a Freestone County property since November 2015. Anyone with information re- garding these bulls is urged to call Dickson at 903-586-8733.


Steer, Heifer Missing from Freestone County Ranch Dickson reports that a steer and heifer have been


missing from a separate property in Freestone County since Jan. 14. The steer is a black Brangus-type, weighing approximately 475 pounds with a crop on lower right ear, and the heifer is a black Angus-type weighing approxi- mately 400 pounds, with a crop in the lower right ear. Portable Pens Trailer Stolen from Freestone County Ranch


Dickson reports the theft of a portable pens trailer


from a separate property in Freestone County. The trailer was last seen on Jan. 18. Stolen was a red 2015 OK Cor- ral portable pens trailer with several Holmes Livestock Equipment stickers on it, serial no. 420153374. TSCRA has 30 special rangers stationed strategically throughout Texas and Oklahoma. They have in-depth


knowledge of the cattle industry and training in all facets of law enforcement. All are commissioned as Special Rangers by the Texas Department of Public Safety and/or the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Formed as a trade association in 1877, TSCRA is the largest and oldest livestock organization based in Texas.
