BA adds winter routes and frequencies from London Ian Taylor


British Airways has put additional flights from Heathrow and Gatwick on sale for winter 2015-16. The carrier has laid on extra flights from Gatwick to Funchal, Faro, Seville and Turin from October 27 to the end of March. Turin will benefit from one more service a week, while Faro, Seville and Funchal will get two. BA has also announced new services from Heathrow to Reykjavik and Salzburg. Return flights to the Icelandic capital will operate three times a week from October 25. Twice-weekly flights


Norwegian Air Shuttle to fly to Canaries from Brum and Edinburgh


Norwegian Air Shuttle will offer flights from Edinburgh and Birmingham to the Canary Islands from the autumn. The carrier will serve Tenerife


from both airports, while Birmingham will also gain a service to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. The three services will operate


to Salzburg, on Saturdays and Sundays, will start on December 5. Tickets to both destinations


are already on sale, with return fares to Reykjavik (hand-baggage only) starting at £86 and £78 to Salzburg.


BA has previously unveiled new services to Dalaman and Bodrum from October, and extra flights to Thessaloniki, Dubrovnik, Heraklion, Catania, Naples, Malaga, Cagliari, Ibiza, Rhodes, Bari and Paphos. ba.com
