The Agent Achievement Awards takes place in London on July 7 and is already a sell-out. This week, we talk to Colin Wilson (pictured) of headline sponsor All Leisure Holidays about why the operator supports the biggest celebration of frontline travel sellers in the UK


Q Tell us why you are involved in the Agent Achievement Awards 2015? A We had no hesitation in being involved. The Agent Achievement Awards are a fantastic chance to showcase all of our brands in front of the people that matter the most – the frontline travel agents.


Q Give us an idea of where the trade sits in your strategy, and tell us what you are doing to improve your relationship with and service for agents. A Our strategy is very clear and it is to grow our trade channels. We offer a very dynamic and flexible approach with our partners; feedback tells us that training is all-important. We have done more webinars and more ship visits in the last 12 months than ever before, together with our educational trips, which have recently taken in some of our key destinations such as Italy and


India. We have continued our trade presence with three business development managers on the road backed up by the trade sales and marketing team.


Q What are the big events or products you will be promoting around the AAAs in July? A All of our brands will have launched their 2016 products by the time the AAAs come round and these will have been promoted throughout the trade. We will also be speaking about some exciting launch plans for the winter 2016-17 cruise season. All of our brands are about enrichment and experience for the customer – so if agents have customers seeking this, then we should and can be working closely together.
