Voyage itinerary
Day 1 Board the M/V Ocean Nova in Ushuaia and sail along the Beagle Channel towards Puerto Williams in Chile, the southernmost town in the World. Day 2 Be one of the few privileged adventurers to set foot on legendary Cape Horn; you’ll journey here by Zodiac, before continuing to Antarctica. Day 3 Spot magnifi cent sea birds, such as albatross and petrels, as well as different species of whales, on your way to Antarctica. Day 4 Exciting times, as you watch for icebergs and your fi rst sight of Antarctic land; make sure you have your camera to hand! Reaching the South Shetland Islands, you’ll sail in ice-fi lled bays, while enjoying the company of sea birds, penguins, seals and whales. Board a Zodiac for your fi rst memorable shore visit to a penguin colony. Because Antarctica doesn’t get dark in the summer months, you can continue exploring well into the evening. Day 5 On King George Island, you’ll have time to explore two research stations before boarding a fl ight back to Punta Arenas, where you will be transferred to your overnight hotel on arrival. Day 6 Transfer to Punta Arenas airport for your onward fl ight.
