PRODUCTS DRIVES, CONTROLS & TRANSMISSI0NS SERVICES HELP END-USERS MINIMISE DOWNTIME
Brevini has committed significant investment to updating its UK service facilities to meet the requirements of the business as it grows within its key market sectors. The aftermarket maintenance and repair service is known for helping end-users keep downtime to a minimum through routine inspections, preventative maintenance schedules and emergency repairs. The investment includes new equipment for on-site inspections, an upgrade of its workshop and the appointment of an aftermarket manager. Brevini Power Transmission engineers carry out on-site inspections of gearboxes and offer preventative maintenance in the event that a potential failure is identified. Where necessary they are able to carry out complete strip-downs, refurbishments and repairs at its workshop in Scunthorpe. The service extends beyond Brevini manufactured gearboxes to all industrial drives and is often less expensive than OEM servicing thanks to the buying power of the Brevini Group. In order to keep up with increased market demand and
maintain the high level of service, Brevini has recently invested in its aftermarket service centre to make sure it can keep response time low for all jobs. Labour-saving tooling has been bought including environmentally friendly auto-wash facilities to help streamline the workshop and diagnostic tools procured for on-site inspection. "Brevini is one of the best known names in the power
transmission industry so joining the team is extremely exciting,” comments aftermarket manager Andrew Baggaley. “I'm looking forward to working with the service team and our customers to ensure that we continue to offer the best service possible. The investment allows us to continue to expand our aftermarket service without losing the personal, reliable reputation we already enjoy."

component quality is as a result of better consistency with respect to the positioning of the carriages. Conventional conveyor type systems often lack the

with a wide range of different power transmission solutions it is important that we offer design and maintenance engineers access to a complete drive solution from electrical input to the final driven machine,” says technical manager Mark Maher. “Each component encompasses the usual robust design, construction and quality which engineers have now come to expect with Fenner products. “In addition to product information
the manual provides detailed technical advice, specification reference material, fittings and maintenance solutions across all products ranges, making it the must have tool for students, apprentices and experienced engineers worldwide.”
