The Horseshoe Casino Baltimore is set to open its doors to the public at the end of August offering a huge new venue Maryland - New Operations
Executives of Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, the $442m entertainment facility that extends the city’s tourism district south from the famed Inner Harbor and renowned sports stadiums, is to cele- brate its grand opening on the night of August 26.
Horseshoe Baltimore features 2,500 video lottery terminals and more than 100 table games, plus a 25-seat World Series of Poker-branded poker room. The full-service casino employs some 1,700 team members committed to providing the indus- try’s best customer service.

New York Mohegan Sun has submitted its final application to the New York State Gaming Commission for a casino license in the Catskills/ Hudson Valley region, proposing the $550m Mohegan Sun at the Concord destination resort casino on the site of the historic former Concord Resort Hotel in Thompson, Sullivan County. The resort and casino would extend over 60 acres of the 140.3 acre property and would be developed by Mohegan Sun in partnership with the Cappelli Organisation, which owns and manages the property. Mohegan Sun delivered 20 copies of the application to the Gaming Commission. Each copy of the application is approximately 10,000 pages of documents.
