LE MINISTÈRE DES FINANCES AUTRICHIEN VIENT d’attribuer l’une des nouvelles concessions de casino de Vienne, la capitale, à Grand Casino Wien, une co-entreprise internationale gérée par le groupe Stadtcasino Baden, un opérateur de renom qui gère déjà le Grand Casino Baden près de Zurich et le Casino Davos situé en Suisse. Les deux conces- sions restantes ont été attribuées à Novomatic. Cet événe- ment va créer des centaines de nouveaux emplois en Autriche. Novomatic va construire deux casinos haut de gamme et dernier cri, l’un au Prater de Vienne et le second à Bruck an der Leitha, en Basse Autriche.

Caesars has provided details for the proposed development of Caesars New York, an $880m resort in Woodbury, NY New York - New Licences
Caesars Acquisition Company, through its sub- sidiary, Caesars Growth Partners, has submitted its application to the New York State Gaming Facility Location Board for a gaming license, which will be managed and operated by Caesars Entertainment and its affiliates. The application details plans for the resort and presents informa- tion about Caesars’ operations and history.
Situated in the heart of the Hudson Valley, approximately 50 miles from New York City, the proposed project will be a sustainably designed, contemporary structure that complements the region’s natural surroundings to create a world- class entertainment retreat. The resort is projected to attract more than 10 million visitors a year, making it a strong economic engine for the State of New York, Orange County and Woodbury. Caesars New York will work closely with other businesses in the State to maximise the economic develop- ment opportunity in the region.

Based on current estimates, Caesars projects an estimated total of $230m in anticipated annual tax revenues with $29m annually going to the local community and $10m to Orange County. The proj- ect is anticipated to create approximately 4,500 direct jobs including 1,500 construction jobs and approximately 3,000 permanent, well-paying, mostly union jobs.

NEVADA The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) has approved the mem- bership applications of nine new companies, bringing the trade group comprised of the world’s leading gaming suppliers to a total of 141 members.
The new AGEM members are Adlink Technology, based in San Jose, Calif., offers industrial embedded computing solutions, application-ready intelligent platforms and customization services to the gaming industry.
Amatic Industries, based in Rutzenmoos, Austria, has been operating successfully in the
