New visa regs for Turkey travellers


FOREIGN passport-holders entering Turkey must now be in possession of a passport valid for at least 60 days from the date of expiry of their visa, visa exemption period or residency permit to be able to enter the country before December 31 2014. For

anyone leaving Turkey on August 20 2014 should hold a passport that is valid until at least October 20 2014. As from January 1 2015 passports must be valid for at least 60 days from the date of expiry of the visa.
