New dedicated resort for divers
TAVEUNI Island is planning a new accommodation complex to cater for its diving-loving customers. Resorts and Beaches Ltd has taken on the project and has described the property as 'the best Resort-to-Reef experience on Taveuni'. Taveuni Dive has been successfully operating for 10 years but the complex will provide its guests with accommodations and dining as well as scuba diving and tourism activities The resort will feature a pool, eight bures, a full restaurant & bar (The
Salty Fox) and a small retail market. It is also the only accommodation on Taveuni Island located adjacent to the island’s nine-hole golf course and tennis courts. Guests of the hotel will be next to the marina where Taveuni Dive’s fleet is moored, reducing guests' room-to-reef commute time from 35 to 15 minutes. Taveuni Dive Resort is described as
