When Dave Willis returned from backpacking in 1996 he bought an old van, stocked it with crisps and nuts
and set off around London selling to premium pubs. By 2002 business was booming, so Dave and his wife Judy decided to create their own brand of hand-cooked crisps. Salty Dog was launched in 2003 and since then the company has gone from strength to strength and turnover is in excess of £2.5million.

responsible for managing the day-to-day running of all UK restaurants, including strategic, tactical and short-term operations management and improvement. Over his many years with McDonald’s, Richard has won a number of internal awards, including the ‘Three-Legged Stool Award’ in 2007 in recognition for his contribution to the system of franchisees, suppliers and employees and the prestigious ‘International Presidents Award’ in 2004.
