Qioptiq Photonics will be displaying its iFLEX-iRIS lasers. This series of

miniaturised lasers has fully integrated TEC and control electronics, with dimensions of 70 x 40 x 38mm. Designed for commercial integration, iFLEX-iRIS lasers deliver stable output and low noise performance resulting in reliable and repeatable measurements. Fully CDRH compliant versions are available. Plus, options for single-mode polarisation-maintaining fibre delivery using kineFLEX are available, in lengths from 1-3m terminated in connector or collimated outputs.

The laser range has been expanded to include additional wavelengths at 520nm and 561nm that are ideal for fluorescence applications in microscopy and flow cytometry. These lasers are available at output power levels of up to 220mW, and in the following wavelengths: 375, 405, 445, 450, 458, 488, 515, 520, 532, 561, 633, 640, 660, 780, 830 and 852nm.

Raptor Photonics will be presenting a new range of CCD cameras for

fluorescence applications. Based on the new breed of Sony sensors, developed using Sony ExView HAD II sensor technology (ICX674, ICX694, and ICX814), the cameras offer a choice of resolutions (2.8MP, 6MP and 9MP) and are available in both mono and RGB. With a pixel size of 4.54µm, these sensors provide ultra-sharp images.

The Kingfisher V is a vacuum deep cooled (∆-111°C) CCD, offering a read-out noise of <3e-s and almost negligent dark current of one electron per every 16 minutes, making it suitable for longer exposure applications such as fluorescence, bioluminescence and astronomy.

current in a rugged and compact design.

The Kingfisher OEM is a board- level camera available uncooled or with custom cooling options with a detachable sensor enabling easy replacement with various resolutions. The Kingfisher range offers 16-bit scientific resolution, variable speeds up to 20fps, operating in conditions from -20°C to +55°C, and running using a CameraLink interface.

Roditi International, a distributor of laser crystals in Europe,

join its partners LMC and Yamaju Ceramics to exhibit a range of laser and optoelectronic crystal products. As a supplier of Nd- and Cr-doped laser materials, Roditi will join LMC to present a range of solid-state laser crystals used in medical, research and materials-processing laser systems worldwide. Roditi’s expertise in optoelectronic

crystal materials, including lithium niobate and tantalate, quartz and sapphire wafers, is excels alongside Yamaju Ceramics’ contribution to high-quality oxide materials.

Scanlab will present a range of galvanometer-based scanning solutions

for the photonics industry, including the DynAxis XT galvanometer for applications requiring high scan-frequencies such as microscopy or OCT.

Also on display will be the IntelliScan Se 10, a 10mm aperture scan head with high-resolution digital encoder scanners. This product is the optimal solution in applications where low dither, low drift and dynamic performance are required.
