Comprehensive Barrus displays
E.P. Barrus will have two stands at the Show, one of which will be devoted to Loncin engines, generators and pumps. The new
‘A’ Series of open-frame petrol generators comprises six models from 2kW to 7kW, each with a robust frame and flush-fitting
sockets to protect against damage. Also on display will be the LC2000i-S synchronising inverter generator, which has a 1.6kW rated output and is designed for low noise. Two units can be linked in parallel where there is a requirement for additional power. Visitors will
Get hitched to Harford

Harford Attachments is extending its range of quick-couplers for mini excavators with the new Uni-Lok, a double-locking hydraulic unit available for machines as small as 0.75 tonnes. It has been designed to
include several safety features without compromising ease of operation, such as a locking indicator.
also be able to see two new trolley-mounted cold water pressure washers, which have a detergent application facility as standard.
On its other stand, Barrus’ Industrial Division will be showing Toyota industrial gas engines, for which it reports increasing demand from new and existing OEMs. The 4Y 2.2-litre model will be the main focus, designed for heavy-duty applications such as power generation, material handling and access equipment.
Enhanced Harrington range
SEE US ON STAND C155
Harrington Generators International (HGI) will launch an enhanced product range that is being kept strictly under wraps until the Show opens. The 9-100kVA HDR range has been re-designed to be more competitive, whilst retaining reliable and fuel-efficient performance. The machines offer power nodes for all markets, and have specially configured enclosures for sound attenuation. Any orders placed at the Show for the new HDR range, in road-tow or skid base formats, will be upgraded to include all available options free of charge.

ATE to launch new tester
SEE US ON STAND E95
ATE’s new trailer light tester is targeted at workshop and field service staff who regularly work on these products. Powered by its own battery and supplied with a 12V charger, the compact device can be used on both 13-pin and 7-pin plugs. A single button activates the product and begins the testing operation, with an LED display indicating which lights are being tested.
All mobile vacuum cleaners from Dustcontrol UK are now being fitted with new ‘eco’ motors, designed to use less power while delivering the same, or higher, performance. The DC3800 range is being superseded by the DC3900 line-up, comprising models that stand upright as opposed to at an angle. This enables the cyclone unit to be placed lower down in the chassis for transport, making it more compact and easier to manage.
Dustcontrol will also be
introducing the Aircube 1200 air cleaner, joining the existing 500 and 2000 models. All three can have a hose connected to their inlets, and the company says they can also be attached to a local extraction canopy, such as for cleaning specific areas in a workshop environment.
