Hird will display two machines from its range, aimed at hirers wanting to target the lifting market. The Winlet 350 glazing robot is a vacuum lifter capable of handling items such as glass panels, fire doors, steel plates,
plasterboard and cladding, while the Valla 25EL is a DC powered pedestrian,
pick-and-carry crane that can lift 2250kg but weighs only 1950kg, and is designed for working externally and internally. As a special Show-only offer, the company is offering an iPad with every unit sold.

The highlight of eKonomical’s display, quite literally, will be the Flood-It range of rechargeable, cordless LED floodlights, designed to provide powerful illumination without the need for generators and trailing cables. The portable units are fully IP65 rated and are said to be robust enough to withstand typical
site conditions indoors and outside. The Prime8 model has been updated, now providing a typical working time of nine hours, or up to 30 hours on a low light setting. New models that will be on show include the 30W and 50W Beast units, designed for illuminating larger site areas
Lombardini powers up with Kohler
Amongst engines to be shown by Lombardini, part of the Kohler Group, will be the KD15-440 air-cooled, single cylinder diesel
engine, designed to offer increased power, reduced maintenance costs and extended service intervals compared against the previous 15LD engine series. Also on display will be the KDI (Kohler Direct Injection) family of engines, developed for clean combustion with limited emissions, without the use of after-treatment systems.
