about the Show’s importance is based on building relationships. It enables hirers to meet up and talk about the latest industry
developments, and you can make contact face-to-face with
the suppliers you deal with day in, day out throughout the year. And we always go with our chequebook, ready to do deals. It’s good to spend a day away from the normal routine. You can talk to
hirers from other parts of the country and discuss their latest developments and initiatives, allowing you to make comparisons and to come away with some new ideas. We’ll be touching base with key suppliers such as The Hire Supply Company, Fairport and OX Group, but basically we make sure we see every stand. We’re always on the lookout for products we haven’t seen before, and which we can add to the fleet to bring in more revenue.

We are experiencing on-going and increasing demand for our equipment, so it’s important to keep in touch with the latest innovative items on the market, and the Show is the ideal place to see them. I’ll be particularly interested in new compact, low-level access products, an area we want to expand this year.
It’ll be an opportunity to touch base with our friends at Euro Towers,
who are supplying us with aluminium tower and podium steps for our recently established non-powered access fleet. We will also be looking at ancillary items like harnesses and safety equipment. Going to the Show is important because you need to keep up to date with what’s new, and see how far the market has moved on since last year.
