STAGE CLEAR WAS set up by three former Over The Top Games employees: Daniel Martínez, Daniel Santos and co-founder Enrique Orrego. Their first release was Shiny


The Firefly (pictured), a mobile and PC game that was met with critical acclaim – in fact, the art style was even compared with Pixar.


Stage Clear Studios wants to


get Shiny ported to as many mobile platforms as possible, as well as creating console versions, starting with a Wii U edition due for release by Christmas. Eventually, the firm hopes to


grow its team in order to take on bigger PC and console titles.

STILLALIVE STUDIOS


STILLALIVE STUDIOS IS an independent games developer based in Innsbruck, and houses a team of 15 staff with international members from Switzerland, Italy, Germany, the US and Ecuador. Focusing on PC, Mac and Linux, the studio’s first project is fantasy action adventure Son of Nor (pictured). The team generated finances for the project through Kickstarter, where it garnered an impressive $151,175 from 2,244 backers. The title has also successfully passed Steam Greenlight, and will appear on Valve’s eponymous digital distribution platform when it releases next year.
