develop 100 NEXT GAMES

NEXT GAMES IS a free-to-play developer formed in August 2013, based in Helsinki, Finland. The team was founded by former Rovio VP of mergers and acquisitions and Sulake exec Teemu Huuhtanen. Its team (pictured) is

comprised of experienced developers with a background in creating games for PC, consoles, mobile and browsers. Currently working on its first

title for iOS, the developer says it is focused on creating high- end titles that will be playable in both snack-sized sessions and longer playthroughs. Its debut title is set to be released for iOS in 2014.

NIGHT NODE

IN THE FIRM’S own words, Night Node was formed because “our team was too good to waste”. That studio is made up of four friends: CEO Anton Erik Lindén, game and graphics designer Rasmus Bergström, back-end programmer Joakim Clysén and project leader Mohammed Hani Al-hasnawi. The firm is currently using

Unity3D to make Project Gravity (pictured), an action game in which gravity plays a pivotal role druing combat. Given the studio only opened its doors in July, work is focused around its debut title – when the team isn’t having too much fun testing the multiplayer.
