EUROPEAN START-UPS

BEARD BANDIT GAMES is a small studio based in Hull supported through Microsoft’s student-focused DreamSpark initiative, which has given them access to dev tools to help the team of students achieve their games-making ambitions. The trio of developers that make up the studio has set about working on Windows 8 title Comet Chaos (pictured), in which players must protect a city from attacks. But, not confining itself to developing its own IP, the promising studio has also become a service provider for other companies, offering 2D game development, character design and illustration.
