MEDIOCRE WAS FOUNDED by the two-man team of Dennis Gustafsson and Henrik Johansson. In their own words, they “don’t really play video games, but thrive on creating”. Their first creation was Sprinkle,


a physics-based puzzle game for iOS and Android (pictured). It was followed by two sequels: the kids-focused freeform puzzler Sprinkle Junior and the more complex Sprinkle Islands. Due in Early 2014, Mediocre’s


next title is Smash Hit. While the firm has yet to reveal much about the game, it promises this title will have more advanced physics simulations than any of its previous games.

AN ITALIAN INDIE studio, MixedBag’s was founded by ex-games journalist Mauro Fanelli and graphic designer Andrea Gellato. Its first project was retro


shoot ‘em up Futuridium EP (pictured), which was released for PC, Mac and iOS. The team is currently working on a console version. They are also hard at work on a brand new iOS adventure Forma.8, aimed at fans of classic exploration titles like Metroid and Castlevania. MixedBag is now an official


Sony and Nintendo developer so it plans to bring all future releases to these platforms.
