develop 100 REJECTED GAMES

ONE-MAN STUDIO Lukas Hoenderdos spent four years working at an Dutch developer Paladin Studios, creator of Momonga Pinball Adventures, before branching out on his own in 2012. Using Unity, he has focused

on creating humourous games such as iOS title An Alien With A Magnet (pictured), a game he claims is the first in a new genre: the action arcade puzzle adventure rotating platformer – AAPARP for short. Hoenderdos is currently

working with 3D artist Fabian Schmidt on a multiplayer variant of air hockey called Bonk-A-Donk.

REPTILE GAMES

AN UP-AND-COMING DUTCH studio, Reptile Games has developed a number of Flash and browser-based games over the past few years.

Notable examples include All

Nighter, created on behalf of Cartoon Network to tie in with animated series Regular Show, and Senor Destino, winner of the Audience Award at last year’s Global Game Jam 2012. Its first title Megabyte Punch

(pictured), a hybrid of platformers and beat ‘em ups, is currently being ported to Steam. The original browser version has already proven to be popular enough to warrant the creation of a merchandise site.
