Since 1989, Sirius Analytical has specialized in the provision of scientific instruments, data and analytical services. During its history, the company has introduced the first commercially supported instrument for pKa measurement, Yasuda-Shedlovsky plots to obtain aqueous pKa
from values measured in cosolvents, the use of Target Factor Analysis to obtain pKa from UV spectroscopic data, pH-metric measurement of
logP, and solubility measurement by CheqSol. With the announcement of a new bio- relevant solubility and dissolution instrument, Sirius Analytical continues to innovate.

New Product Announcement Sirius inForm measures the kinetics of dissolution, absorption, supersaturation and real-time precipitation under biorelevant conditions while accommodating multiple dosage forms and sample types. Versatile options including our novel automated biphasic dissolution, solubility and lipolysis assays provide high quality support for formulation development and the drive towards QbD.
SiriusT3 is a highly automated instrument for measurement of pKa , logP/D and
solubility using small quantities of API. SiriusT3 is the fastest and most reliable way to obtain in-house preformulation physchem properties.
Sirius SDI UV imaging system can now be coupled with Raman spectroscopy, enabling the simultaneous characterization of dissolution rate and solid form changes.
Sirius Insight is an innovative particle size analyser which utilises two measurement methods - Laser Obscuration Time and digital video imaging. This approach enables the measurement of particle size and particle shape parameters on a single compact instrument.
Sirius CRO services include Screening and “Gold Standard” measurement options, with fast turnaround, expert analysts and low cost. Services include pKa, logP/D, solubility, dissolution, surface tension, excipient solubility testing and biorelevant media testing.
