Newluxury Spa for historic city


Opening in Spring 2014,The Gainsborough Bath Spa is sure to be at the top ofmany Spa enthusiasts wish-lists. Located in the historical city of Bath, the destination is an exciting new addition to theYTL Hotels portfolio.


The lower level of the property will be home to the SpaVillage Bath and thermal pools. Located over two floors, the 1,300 squaremetres Spa will have direct access to Bath’s celebrated waters through three therapeutic pools and will hold the prestigious honour of being the only hotel in the UK to have direct access to natural thermal waters. Designed with the Roman history of the city inmind, the pools are set within an atriumflooded with natural light.The Spa will also support the brand’s philosophy of honouring wellness traditions of the locale whilst also interweaving theMalaysian-based chain’s roots through luxury treatments and therapies.


Mad about the boys


Male skin care line,VitaMan has partnered with the EdenTreatment Rooms at Pulse 8. Forming part of their newMen Zone treatmentmenu, the Spa teamat theWoking-based venue have worked closely with the brand to develop a range ofVitaMan treatments. Gents can now choose fromsuch treats as body scrub, facial, expressmanicure, express pedicure, as well as a recharge and relaxationmassage.

Congratulations toThe Spa Leamington's Director,Marc Phillopt, and BeautyManager, Hollie Bawden, who recently completed the Round the Island Ibiza Cycle Challenge.


After fivemonths of hard training and fundraising, the duo covering 190kmover two-days and reached a total descent of 10,00ft into some of Ibiza's beautiful scenery. Overall, a fabulous £3,000 was raised for their efforts with proceeds donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Alongside trying out the new treatment offerings, guests can relax poolside at the C-Side Spa at CowleyManor.


C-Side Spa at CowleyManor has introduced a fresh treatmentmenu bringing an array of new holistic treatments to visitors.


Amongst the new offerings at the Cotswolds-based venue is the Spa’s new signature treatment - the Repair and Restore Ritual, ideal for those guests in need of rejuvenation.Through a combination of buffing,massage, wrapping and a rejuvenating facialmassage, the body and mind is revitalised.


Additionally, anymums-to-be visiting the Spa can try out the new pampering treatments using theMammaMio pregnancy range. Coming Soon and the Relaxing PregnancyMassage are two full-bodymassages, whilst the Lighter Legs treatment offers a foot soak, exfoliation andmassage for the lower legs to assist with the tiring effects of pregnancy.
