Westcon Convergence could arguably be more focused on its target markets, business objectives and channel expansion than ever before. Here, David Grant, Westcon Group’s Senior Vice President EMEA, discusses the distributor’s overall strategy and the technologies that are shaping up to form the foundation of its next growth phase.

strategy involves working closely with Avaya to push deeper into the mid-market with IP Office. According to the numbers, Westcon is Avaya’s biggest IP Office distributor in Europe and sells more IP Office than any other distributor. “We see the

opportunity for us to take the enterprise and mid-market experience that we have and combine it with our scale and inventory availability, and take a compelling proposition to market, not just in the UK but across Europe,” commented Grant.
