how much I enjoyed the 2013 Cattle Raisers Convention and appreciated your efforts. I thought the whole staff did a great job in putting this on. I also know this can be a thank- less job so I wanted to thank you for getting up at 3 a.m. and not getting into bed until midnight or later in order to make all this happen. The convention was very educa-

Dear Mr. Koelemay, Kristin Hawkins, our website con-


tent manager, gives us the answer. She says your computer/smartphone/ tablet is reading the code embedded in the symbol. That code is a link to a TSCRA web page. It’s always good to know what page you’re going to. In this case, we built the page, and it provides you with more information on downloading The Cattleman Now to your smartphone, or The Cattle- man Plus to your tablet. As for other QR codes, caution is


always a good policy. Only scan those codes that come from trusted sources. Ellen
