DISTRICT 1 — PANHANDLE OF TEXAS 13 Calves Stolen South of Claude TSCRA Special Ranger Harold Dempsey reports


the theft of 13 black or black baldy calves weighing ap- proximately 200 pounds each from a set of pens about 10 miles south of Claude off of Hwy. 207. The theft could have occurred between March 4 and 20, 2013. The calves are branded D over bar on the right hip with a 7 underbit in both ears. DISTRICT 5 — EASTERN OKLAHOMA Angus, Simmental Show Heifers Stolen in Rogers County


TSCRA Special Ranger John Cummings reports the April 5 theft of 2 heifers from a property in Chelsea, Okla., Rogers County. Stolen were an Angus heifer, approximately 1,000


pounds, with yellow ear tag #1 in her right ear, value $2,000; and a registered coming 2-year-old, heavy bred, Simmental heifer, approximately 1,400 pounds, black with white on her fl ank and udder area, with a yellow ear tag in her left ear #YO47 and the same number tattooed in an ear. This heifer is valued at $8,000. These cattle were previously shown by the victim’s

children and were very tame and easy to handle. The cattle were found missing on April 4, 2013, at about 6 p.m. The owner of the cattle is offering a reward for informa- tion leading to the recovery of both of these cattle be- cause they are her children’s pets.


DISTRICT 12 —NORTHEAST TEXAS Saddles Stolen From Hopkins County Barn TSCRA Special Ranger Toney Hurley reports the


March 18 or 19 theft of 4 saddles from a Hopkins County barn. Two of the saddles were brown Crates brand roping saddles — one is 15 inches and the other a full basket- weave-patterned 15.5-inch saddle; a custom Oregon- made 16-inch basket-weave highback saddle that has a large Mexican-style rawhide horn and a round circle concho with the initials PMP; and a full roughout 16-inch Rocking-J training saddle.
