HIS MONTH I’D LIKE TO PROVIDE A brief update on 2 actions of
the Resource Development Task Force recommendations that were approved at the 2012 fall meeting. The dues adjustment was imple-
mented on Jan. 1 with no notice- able impact on membership attri- tion. The multi-member program for members rendering more than 250 head has also been strongly adopted and the total membership is growing as a result. As of this writing, TSCRA mem-
bership is up 4.2 percent year over year. While we’re proud of this growth, the RAP team still is ag- gressively pursuing membership growth. At the summer meeting we will discuss updates to the Mem- bership Marketing Plan. We have some exciting developments and look forward to sharing this infor- mation with all attendees. Finally, we have a full calendar
of ranch gatherings being lined up to allow members to get together for a little social time, a little business, and a good meal. Please see the Calendar on page 113 of this issue for dates and locations. We hope to see you at one of these events.
