Hannah Smith, National Ropers Supply (NRS), and Association Promotion Committee Chair Van Baize revealed the 2013 Membership Contest grand prize. NRS, the sponsor of the contest, donated a custom saddle, which will go to the top membership recruiter for 2013.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott spoke about his work to protect private property rights in Texas at the opening general session of the 2013 Cattle Rais- ers Convention.

Jeff Gore led the singing and the service at the well-attended Cowboy Church Sunday, March 24, at the 2013 Cattle Raisers Convention.


Several of the 2013 Cattle Raisers Convention breakout ses- sions were jointly hosted by TSCRA committees. On Satur- day morning, March 23, the Legislative and Tax Committee and the Labor Committee hosted U.S. Representative Mike Conaway and State Representative Charlie Geren.
