Laus Deo is trained by Eddie Lee Willis, was ridden by Kenny Muntz, and is being leased by Joni Beth Willis of Caddo, Oklahoma. Second across the finish line was Honky Tonk Podie, a 2010 sorrel overo gelding by SM Country Snowman and out of Giddy Up. Honky Tonk Podie covered the 350-yard distance in :17.50. Bred by Rick Meeks of Wister, Oklahoma, Honky Tonk Podie was trained by Brain Muse and ridden by Francisco Ramirez Jr. The gelding earned a speed index of 92 and $10,576 for owner Brian L. Running third in :17.55 was Hesa Sweet First Down, a 2010 sorrel solid gelding by Sweet First Down (QH) and out of Emilys Valentine.
