Mark Flanagan named VP of marketing for Install and Tour; Tim Chapman to focus on special projects
TC Group has announced the appointment of Mark Flanagan as its VP of marketing for Install & Tour, with responsibility for the marketing of TC Group brands – primarily Tannoy,
Lab.gruppen, Lake and White Acoustic – in installed sound and touring markets. Former VP Tim Chapman will now focus on various special projects across TC Group. Based at Tannoy’s Scottish HQ, Flanagan has assumed the lead role in the marketing of the Install and Tour verticals, the managing of the core I&T marketing team at Coatbridge, as well as the delivery of the marketing strategy and co-ordination of other marketing teams within TC Group offices in North America, Japan and China.
Andrzej Sosna, CEO of
TC Group’s Install and Tour verticals, said: “Having focused almost entirely on the professional audio market during his past five years with TC Group, Mark is well equipped to lead the marketing team into a new era. He has continually proven himself to be a very valuable member of the organisation, and I for one congratulate him on his well-deserved appointment.” Flanagan joined Tannoy in
June 2008, initially in a communications role, before becoming marketing manager. “I am looking forward to the
new challenges that this role presents, and feel very fortunate to be given the opportunity,” commented Flanagan.
