This location is not limited to showcasing brilliant art in an amazing landscape. For your conference or meeting, Artipelag has a whole lot to offer. There are numerous conference rooms avail- able; varying in size to suit small or large meet- ings. They are situated in architecturally stimulating surroundings that work perfectly with the unique archipelago setting neighbour- ing Baggen’s Bay. Whether you are looking for an intimate location for a small team building exercise for 10 colleagues or you want an im- pressive conference hall to seat up to 800 indi- viduals, Artipelag is the place to be. And it will not disappoint. Apart from hosting interesting art exhibi-
tions, presenting well-equipped meeting rooms with a beautiful backdrop, what else does Ar- tipelag have on offer? This original location has numerous motivating outdoor activities to choose from; wine tasting, and an ocean view comes with every meal in the Baggen restau- rant. It is a great choice to excite and inspire your colleagues for your next conference, meeting, or staff trip. Artipelag also includes a trendy Swedish design shop, performances by the Royal Opera house and walks and outdoor pur- suits in the natural surroundings. After a confer- ence, a wander in the countryside and an appetizing meal, you can spend the rest of the evening stargazing from the rooftops. What bet- ter way to finish up for the day? The current exhibition at Artipelag is called
‘Enlightened: Electric Light as the Fairy of Art. The springtime brings an exhibition entitled Poul Gernes: Made in Sweden, an exhibition fo- cusing on the entire works of the Danish artist. Scandinavian spirit and character permeate through Artipelag. The appealing appearance of the modern architecture adds to the charm of an already beautiful, natural environment. Who then was behind the construction of this great building? Björn Jakobson, who began the successful
company “BabyBjörn”, wanted an art building in the Stockholm archipelago. Cultural experi- ences were also very important in Jakobson’s concept. So Artipelag was born to display art in a natural environment and finally opened its doors in May 2012. Artipelag is perfect for a work event or a work break with a difference.
