Looking to the future
The NewYear looks set to be a very exciting one forAll AboutMi Beauty and Holistic Training School. Not only will there be two new training schools - in Reading and Fife to run alongside the school in Bristol - but there will also be the addition of some new courses.
The new range of advanced courses include: pregnancy massage, detoxifying massage using lymph drainage techniques, colon massage, deep tissue massage, advanced skincare and make-up.A selection of online courses are also being compiled, and should be live by Spring 2013.
In addition to these courses, a full range of business-related workshops will be introduced regarding increasing retail sales, marketing, business start up, business building, and promotion.

In expert hands
The Habia SkillsAcademy (HSA) has launched Centres of Expertise (CEO), a national network of learning providers delivering the very highest quality programmes.
Open to all centres – regardless of whichAwarding Organisation they work with – accredited Centres of Expertise will have to prove they have successfully met and maintained rigorous assessment criteria, including excellent technical skills; developing and maintaining high quality staff and facilities; and the delivery and content of training programmes. Newly accredited centres include Leicester College, which is the first college to become a Centre of Expertise for Foundation Degree inArtisticMake-up and Special Effects, and theMichelle GriffinAcademy, which is the first employer-led training organisation to become a Centre of Expertise for Hair Extensions.
As well as recognising the best training available in the UK hair and beauty sector, Centres of Expertise will allow industry professionals, salons and Spas to find courses relevant to them in one central location via the HSA website at
