1. Firstly, prepare the natural nail. Due to the density of the glitter within the gel, the extension needs to be built on either an NSI Clear Sculpting Formor a Clear ElationTip.

2.Using your chosen glitter gel, create your smile line, before stretching the gel over the length of the tip, or to the desired length on the form– the same way you would if you were using a white sculpting gel.

1. Prepare the natural nail by applying your usual preparation techniques and then apply Cuccio non acid primer to ensure complete adhesion between the natural nail and theAcrylic. Place the sculpting form under the free edge, pinching the end to make a point. Using the Cuccio colour pigment kit mix up a mask using a hint red, a slight hint of yellow and white acrylic powder. To extend the nail plate place a bead of the mask colour just beyond the free edge and work back towards zone 1. Place another bead in zone 2 and feather back towards the eponychium. Place a small bead in zone 3 and feather down over the whole nail, ensuring that you have an even tone. You can now place a large bead of clear acrylic on the nail form and work it down the sculpting form and into a point to create your shape. Once dry, remove the sculpting form and file into a stiletto and use a white block to remove scratches.

3. Cure under a 36-watt UV lamp for threeminutes. Once cured, apply your ‘lock-in’ layer of Builder Gel to zones 2 and 3, curing for twominutes, followed by your builder layer to create strength at the apex, again curing for twominutes.

4.You can now wipe away the tacky dispersion layer and refine the surface of the nail, remembering to dust away any nail debris before applying the finishing gel of your choice Glaze n’ Go, Finish Clear or Perma Gloss (with Finish Clear or Perma Gloss the residual layer should be removed with Cleanse).

5.Apply Nurture Oil to the cuticle. 3

2. Pick up a good bead and gently place this bead about two thirds of the way down the stiletto to give you a 3D ball on the nail. Repeat this process again but drain the brush a little more this time so that you pick up a slightly smaller bead and place this bead just below the first bead. Repeat once more and you should have three beads on the stiletto and still have the tip showing through.

3. Apply a thin layer of Cuccio UV Gel Seal and paint over the whole of the nail, including the beads and cure for three minutes. This product has no induction layer so you will not need to wipe after.

4. Use a detailer brush and paint thin stripes diagonally down the stiletto and paint the first and third bauble using Cuccio Colour. This example uses Russian Opulence.

5. If you wanted, you could paint alternate nails different colours. For the next nail Cuccio’s Hong Kong Harbour has been used along with the detailer brush and delicately painting dots over the stiletto and then the first and third bauble.

6. On the gold nail, using a small brush carefully paint down in- between the gold lines with Cuccio nail glue and apply the Hollywood glitz ‘paved in gold’ bead. Once on you can trim them down to size. This is better done once on the nail as you will ensure a good fit.Apply another small drop of nail glue and place a Hollywood glitz paved in gold rhinestone in the top corner. On the silver nail apply some random small beads of Cuccio nail glue and place some Hollywood glitz Co-star rhinestones around the design. Apply another bead of nail glue just above the first bauble and attach the silver Hollywood glitz beads and trim to size once on the nail.
