LoveLite’s non-invasive liposuction treatment, Lipoglaze, has been gaining popularity recently and is now offered in clinics up and down the country. Guild News’Deputy Editor, Donna Taylor, visited one of the clinics, the New You Clinic, Ormskirk, to experience the treatment for herself.
“To begin the treatment, a gel is applied to the stomach before the suction cup is applied to an area where fat is an issue. In my case, this was my stomach area,” says Donna. “The suction cup was applied and slowly it began to vacuum my fat cells into the cup. This was a strange experience but not uncomfortable.
“Lipoglaze gently warms up the treatment area which encourages blood and fat to separate. Then by using Chryotherapy, the system begins to cool down the fat cells, carefully freezing them away. I did notice a change in sensation to begin with when the temperature changed, but it wasn’t at all painful like I expected it might
be.After five minutes I had forgotten that the system was attached to me and I was left for an hour to enjoy my book whilst the treatment worked its magic.
“Following the treatment, I was left with a small, rectangle bruise and a numb area, but I was advised that this would only last a few days, which it did. Eight weeks after the treatment my stomach is noticeably flatter and combined with a healthy diet and exercise, I have lost two inches around the area where the treatment took place.”
