Equestrian Life Winter Dressage
Championships 2012/13
Here come the first qualifiers for the Equestrian Life Winter Dressage Championships for 2012/13. Qualification for our championships is very easy, any competitor achieving 60% or over in any test (Intro, Prelim, Novice and Elementary) will qualify for our finals. You will be given Qualification Cards on the day to send in with your championship entry form nearer to the time.
Our dressage competitions are run under BD rules, with the only exception being that any
competitor who qualifies in a Novice or Elementary class may not enter an Intro class at the championships.
Clubs and venues holding our qualifiers so far are: Barleyfields Equestrian Centre, Caistor Equestrian Centre, Manor Grange Stud SC, Elms Farm and Mooreland Stables. We have lots more dates yet to add so keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for updates. The dressage competitions are included in our main Riding Diary pages this time.
The British Elite showing show at Arena UK
Charlotte Swindells showed Westhill Blue Moon in hand at the Elite, gaining 3rd place in the show pony class and then 1st in the Part-Bred Arab class. She then went on to take First Reserve in the Supreme in hand championship in the evening.
The following day they stayed for the Arena UK showing extravaganza and Charlotte and ‘Matty’ did three dressage classes winning both the Prelim and Novice and coming 2nd in the Elementary.
