East Midlands Dressage Group Happy Campers

The happy campers of EMDG were blessed with one of the better weeks of the summer so far. Rainwear was briefly in evidence but not in great demand and the weather had no adverse effect on any of the proceedings. As ever excellent instruction was provided in all disciplines by Mark Cavell, Ann and Alwyn Varley, Steph Cooper, Ken Rodgerson, Julia Hardy, Hilary Westropp, Jan Pollard, Sonia Berry and Keeva Fox.
The attendees were, as usual, provided with excellent catering by Linda Cardwell and Lucie Barrass, photographer, was on hand taking photographs to record for posterity the achievements and progress made!
All in all a very enjoyable and successful week was had and many thanks go to Michael Foljambe for his continued patronage, kindness and generosity in allowing the Osberton estate to be used by EMDG for their events and activities.
At the end of the week a decision was made by the members to donate all stabling deposits to the Air Ambulance and with a further donation by EMDG itself a donation of £1200 has been made in appreciation of the excellent service the Air Ambulance provides to the local equestrian world.
