DAY 6 – VERSAILLES, NOTRE DAME & MONTMARTRE About an hour outside of Paris, Château de Versailles is one of the most extravagant palaces in Europe. During this morning’s guided tour, you won’t be surprised to learn that Louis XIV spent a lot of money building his royal residence. Hear stories about life in the palace, stroll through the formal gardens and have lunch at a café. Back in Paris, explore Notre Dame Cathedral, witness to Parisian history since the 12th century. Tour the cathedral with a local guide to learn about the gargoyles that peer down from ledges above and the bell tower made famous in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Then it’s off to Montmartre, where street artists flock to paint and sketch under the shadow of the white-domed Sacré-Coeur Basilica. See them at work on a guided walk, then enjoy the remainder of the day to discover Paris as you please with your family. Meals BL

DAY 7 – SCAVENGER HUNT IN THE LOUVRE Musée du Louvre is one of the world’s most famous museums, with “residents” that include two very popular ladies: Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and the 2nd-century Greek sculpture, Venus de Milo. Some 35,000 works of art from the Middle Ages to the 19th century are housed in this former palace. You’ll get to know some of them on a scavenger hunt, then visit the Tuileries Gardens, and spend the afternoon as you wish. Join us tonight for a magical farewell dinner. Meals BD
