5. DÜRNSTEIN & DANUBE-SIDE BICYCLING Wake up in Dürnstein, nestled below Wachau Valley vineyards. Following the Danube, we’ll bicycle* to a country village and back. Afterward, you might like to hike high up above the town to the ruins of a castle where Richard the Lionhearted was once held for ransom; the adults will be treated to a wine tasting! 6. SALZBURG’S CASTLE ANTICS Dock in Linz for a visit to Hellbrunn Castle, where you’ll find trick fountains, statues and water-driven animatronics.
