4. FROM CLIFF-TOP RONDA TO ANDALUCÍA A morning drive through picturesque scenery brings you to cliff-top Ronda, once an impregnable Moorish fortress that today entices with white-colored houses and historic buildings. Our local guide shares insights on its centuries-old bullring and Moorish architecture amidst spectacular views of Tajo Gorge on a walking tour. Following lunch, travel Tauck’s Yellow Roads through the quintessential whitewashed villages of Andalucía to Seville for two nights. Your recently renovated landmark hotel symbolizes the city’s Moorish influences. Enjoy a private flamenco show before dinner tonight; more than just a dance, flamenco is a uniquely Andalucían art that expresses the joys and sorrows of life. Meals BLD

5. A DAY OF ROMANCE IN SEVILLE Explore the sights today with a local guide, including taking a horse-drawn carriage ride to Seville Cathedral. This huge Gothic cathedral was built on the site of a great mosque and boasts an equally mighty bell tower, La Giralda. The best way to truly discover this romantic city is on foot – walk through the maze of narrow streets in Barrio Santa Cruz and the former Jewish Quarter, before exploring its diverse cultural riches and enticing sights on your own for the rest of the day. Meals B

6. CENTURIES PAST IN CÓRDOBA Journey to Córdoba for a guided walking tour through centuries of history – it still reflects its golden age prosperity from the 10th century when it was the western capital of the Islamic Empire. Visit the Jewish Quarter and the ornate 8th-century mosque- turned-cathedral, La Mezquita. The lavish building evolved over the centuries with a blend of architectural forms. This afternoon ride the high-speed AVE train – in Preferente class – to Madrid for a two-night stay in the heart of the city. Meals BL
