Dr. Schmitt attended Sorbonne Panthéon University of Paris and University of Cologne and received a doctor iuris from Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen. He did post-graduate work in France and gained a Diplôme d’Études Approfondies in European law from University of Rennes. Fluent in German, English and French, Dr. Schmitt has also good command of Spanish. In Munich, he oversees a team of several lawyers who handle all aspects of corporate and M&A work.
