To celebrate the launch of Ben 10 Omniverse, four new TV ads have been produced to promote the range of figures, role-play, play-sets and vehicles. Highlights are the Omnitrix Touch, mini play-sets and the Intergalactic Plumber Command Center, which all combine to create the Plumber Spaceship. There will also be a spot for the Alien Collection Figures with the Omnitrix Challenge, plus a vehicle focused ad which features Rook’s Proto-Truk and Ben’s new Cycle.

to five new ads for the Super Samurai range, which will be shown regularly through the autumn.The new assortment of action figures are given a spot all of their own to encourage collectability, and this will be rotated with adverts featuring the Chest Morphin figures, Cycles, Zord Vehicles and the Megazords. The key focus of the Power Rangers ads is to demonstrate how the vehicles and cycles can combine together to mirror what is seen in the new TV series. Ads for the role-play range include the new Black Box Morpher, Spin Sword with sound, Masks and the Shogun Buckle. A fresh Harumika ad introducing new set Pop Diva will air from the middle of September. It will explain the step by step process of how to create outfits on miniature dress forms without the need for any sewing, scissors or glue. Badge It will also appear on the TV schedule to coincide with October’s half-term break and will also run through November.

New kids board games Pumpazing, Spin Mania, LOGO What Am I? and Foooz all have their own commercials. They join perennial favourites Magic Tooth Fairy, Gross Magic and Horrid Practical Jokes alongside more recent releases Dino Bite, Pumpaloons, Pig Goes Pop, Don’t Laugh and The Box of Shocks on a five-month TV advertising schedule. This started in August and runs right through to Christmas – delivering a total of at least 2,000 kids’ TVRs.

Also featuring on the family TV schedules are Family Rapidough and Wordsearch and an ‘amusing’ commercial for Articulate will once again break in November.


Amongst the multitude of stations to be utilised for the Family and Adult TV campaigns are ITV2, 3 and 4, Sky 1 and Sky Movies, Atlantic, Living, Music, Documentaries and Comedy Central, plus C4 Digital, E4, More 4, Film 4, Gold, Yesterday, Dave, Alibi and Watch.

MGA ENTERTAINMENT


TV spots for Novi Stars are running to December, through key children’s directed TV channels. MGA has also signed a deal with Sky Media, which will see Novi Stars sponsoring Nickelodeon’s girls programme Alien Surf Girls. The new Bratzillaz doll range will be heavily promoted on TV, running from August to December. MGA continues to expand its Lalaloopsy range with new characters being unveiled in the run-up to Christmas. TV advertised ranges include: Lalaloopsy large dolls, Lalaloopsy Sew Magical Mermaid dolls, Silly Hair Lalaloopsy dolls and the new interactive Silly Hair Lalaloopsy Star Harmony B Sharp. Lalaloopsy Littles will also be


supported by TV advertising. This will include the first Lalaloopsy Littles feature doll, Lalaloopsy Littles Sew Cute Patient. The fun fair themed Mini Lalaloopsy range will be added to the line this


HASBRO


Hasbro’s Pre-Christmas TV ad campaigns are set to begin in September. Across gaming, Connect 4 Dunk, the new extension to the Connect 4 range, will be on screen from September with over 800 TVRs. Twister Dance will get the largest ever TV campaign for the brand with 650 TVRs. Hasbro’s iconic property game brand Monopoly will receive extensive advertising for the new Monopoly Millionaire game starting from October. For pre-shool, the key lines for TV


advertising include Play-Doh’s colourful new Candy Cyclone, starting in mid- September, and Sesame Street’s Tickle Time Elmo which will start from late September. For girls, the return of Furby will be pushed from mid-September, while fans of My Little Pony will see ads for Princess Cadance Pony and her groom Shining Armour in the Pony Princess Wedding Castle Play-set from late September.


ESDEVIUM


Esdevium Games has arranged a TV campaign for its new kids action game Fly Trap.


In the game, players compete to shoot the most flies into the mouth of the rotating Fly Trap, but they must beware as other players will push on their pumps to close the mouth and stop their opponents from scoring. The game is for two to four players and aimed at kids aged four and up. The 20-second commercial began airing in July and will run until December. It’s appearing on CITV, ITV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jnr, Nick Toons, Pop, Kix, Pop Girl, Tiny Pop, Cartoon Network, CN2, Boomerang and Cartoonito. Other promotional activity for Fly Trap includes
