Pipedream recruits new Euro sales executive
Pipedream Products has recruited Raymond
Houtenbos as its new sales executive for the European market. He has over ten
years of adult industry experience working at distributors such as Scala and DCL.
“It has taken me five years to become an official member of the Pipedream family,” said Houtenbos. “I have known Nick (Orlandino) for a great time and am most happy to be representing such a quality selection of brands and support Pipedream’s distribution network in Europe.” Houtenbos will operate a small
office near Amsterdam, as well as travel to meet with existing customers in Pipedream’s distribution network. European customers can now expect to receive the same marketing, promotional and merchandising support as Pipedream’s merchandising team provides to customers in the US.
Pipedream CEO Nick Orlandino said that Houtenbos’ experience is a welcome addition to the Pipedream team: “Ray is not only a personal friend of mine, he has been an unofficial member of the Pipedream family for several years,” he said. “Now it’s official and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on our Dream Team. NATURAL LUBE BRAND SEEKS EUROPEAN DISTRIBUTION
Canadian lube brand Hathor Aphrodisia is looking for a UK and European distributor. Hathor Aphrodisia lubes are unique in that they are formulated from just seven herbal ingredients, with even the flavoured lubes featuring natural organic sweeteners rather than aspartame. Hathor lubes were chosen as one of the top two water-based lubricants on the Oprah sex show and they were nominated in the lube category at last year’s StorErotica awards in the US. They are sold across Canada and the US in upscale adult retail stores. The brand was created by Mellta and
Nathanda Swift, who share a background in manufacturing spa treatment products such as therapeutic oils, creams and lotions and their lubes combine essential oils with active aphrodisiac properties. Mellta Swift said: “Hathor is the feminine principal of

Asia Adult Expo expands into Taiwan
The Asia Adult Expo takes place from 17th to the 19th August 2012 at the Venetian Macao, China, while its sister show - AAE Taichung - will be held one week later, from 23rd to the 26th August, in Taiwan Region.
